Calorie Comedy Club exists because I know how heavy this journey can feel, physically and emotionally.
Iโve gained weight. Iโve lost weight, for anyone that knows me, knows this is true. Iโve restarted more times than I can count. Iโve had good years, bad years, and years where just getting through the week felt like an achievement.
What Iโve learned is this: people donโt need shouted at, lectured, or scared into changing. They need support, understanding, and a space where they can breathe.
Thatโs why Calorie Comedy Club isnโt built on pressure or perfection. Itโs built on real life, the ups, the downs, the laughter, the awkward weeks, and the moments where things finally start to click.
My approach
I donโt believe thereโs one โright wayโ to do this.
Some people calorie count.
Some people use weight-loss medication.
Some people focus on habits, mindset, or movement.
Most people use a mix and thatโs okay.
My role isnโt to dictate or judge. Itโs to walk alongside you, help you make sense of whatโs going on, and remind you that โbad weeksโ donโt cancel good ones
Why the comedy matters
The โComedyโ in Calorie Comedy Club isnโt about stand-up routines or forced fun. Itโs about not making this harder than it already is
Laughter breaks tension.
It lowers pressure.
It reminds us weโre human.
We take health seriously, just not ourselves.
Experience (without the waffle)
Iโve spent many years coaching and supporting people through change, including weight loss and wellbeing. I understand nutrition, mindset, and the importance of avoiding shame-based approaches or disordered eating patterns.
More importantly, I understand what itโs like to be in it, not just talking about it from the sidelines.

What matters most to me
The thing Iโm proudest of isnโt numbers on a scale.
Itโs seeing people:
Feel less embarrassed
Show up even after a tough week
Laugh when they expected to feel judged
Start trusting themselves again
Thatโs the real progress.

You donโt need to be confident.
You donโt need to be motivated.
You donโt need a plan or a backstory.
You just need to show up as you are.
Weโll figure the rest out together and probably have a laugh along the way.
