2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, joining a club, or purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective once published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility & Use of the Website

You confirm that:

  • All information you provide is accurate and up to date

  • You will not use the website for unlawful or unauthorised purposes

  • You will not attempt to disrupt, misuse, or interfere with the website

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

4. Health & Wellbeing Disclaimer (IMPORTANT)

Calorie Comedy Club provides support, education, and community only.

We do not:

  • Provide medical advice

  • Diagnose medical conditions

  • Prescribe diets, exercise programmes, or medication

  • Suppose those with diagnosed eating disorders

Any information shared by hosts, club helpers, or within the community is for general guidance only and must not be relied upon as medical advice.

If you are using weight-loss medication or have health concerns, you must seek advice from your GP or prescribing clinician. Participation in Calorie Comedy Club is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

5. Memberships & Subscriptions

  • Memberships are billed monthly in advance

  • Payments renew automatically unless cancelled (In writing as below)

  • Membership fees are non-refundable

Membership prices are displayed on our website and may be updated from time to time.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing:

We do not have any notice period, you can cancel at any time. Any payments already processed within this period will not be refunded.

6. Club Sessions & Weigh-Ins

  • Weigh-ins (where offered) are optional

  • Weigh-ins are conducted privately

  • Members choose what information they share with others

There is no obligation to participate in weigh-ins to remain a member.

7. Conduct & Behaviour

Calorie Comedy Club aims to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all members.

Members must:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Refrain from alcohol or substance use during club sessions

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel memberships without refund where behaviour compromises safety, wellbeing, or the supportive nature of the community.

8. Community & Social Media Guidelines

We encourage open, respectful discussion across our website, social media, and messaging platforms.

We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment or bullying

  • Hate speech or discrimination

  • Abusive or threatening behaviour

  • Misinformation relating to health or medication

We reserve the right to moderate content, remove posts, or restrict access where necessary to protect members and the integrity of the community.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
